Hammer Union Fig 300 - 3,000 PSI CWP, Forged
Fig 300 sits between Fig 206 and Fig 402 at 3,000 PSI CWP. It is used on medium-pressure manifolds, transfer pumps and pump-in lines - duties where a 2,000 PSI union would run too close to its limit, but the line does not justify a 4,000 PSI figure. Having the intermediate figure in the range lets you step up one level instead of jumping two, and keep the same make-up habit across the line. The body is forged.
